People know me as SophieC or @sophtreeofday (or, you know, Sophie Cunningham). I've worked in and around the publishing industry for forty years. I've written nine books. I teach. I'm opinionated. When I read I try and keep track of the articles which have made an impact on me. Years ago I did this as a blogger, and then I moved this habit to Facebook and Twitter. I've been using social media less and less, for all the reasons why one would, and been looking for a more private way of having the conversations that are so important to me. Recently I've been sharing links by sending them to friends, often my writing friends. If what follows is anything like the way my brain works, there will be a rush of links and thoughts followed by silence of days or weeks. My thoughts often (but not always) relate to trees, environmental issues and writing.
